How to Apply: the Online Application Portal
In 2019, JET Programme Canada switched to a paperless online application process. Through the Online Application Portal you will manage and submit your application. Should you have any questions or encounter any issues, you can contact the National JET Desk through the portal’s JET Inbox. After you submit your application, you will be able to check the status of your application in the portal.
All Canadian applications for the JET Programme must be submitted through the Online Application Portal. It is open to new applicants during the fall application period only. If you are interested in receiving an email when the new application period starts, please sign up here. Please ensure you are eligible before creating an applicant profile.
The application stage is handled by the National JET Desk at the Embassy of Japan. Successful applicants are notified of their results and then regional JET Desks handle the interview stage, final result notifications, training, and departure.
