Alumni Association (JETAA)

The JET Programme Alumni Association (JETAA) is an Alumni Association created in 1989 to strengthen and maintain the bonds of friendship developed between JET Programme participants. It currently has 52 chapters in 17 participating countries and areas, and over 23,000 members.

Through its activities, JETAA aims to promote a broader and deeper understanding of Japan and the countries participating on the JET Programme. Chapter activities include assisting local Japanese embassy and consulate staff with JET Programme application interviews and pre-departure orientation; offering support and providing information in the form of career fairs and resource guides to those returning home; and organising Japan-related events, etc.
